About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products.

Job Purpose

The primary responsibility of this role is to review and certify finished products for release, ensuring that they meet all regulatory and cGMP requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that batches are manufactured in compliance with laws and in accordance with the requirements of marketing authorization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and certify finished products for release, ensuring compliance with regulatory and cGMP requirements
  • Ensure that batches are manufactured in compliance with laws and in accordance with the requirements of marketing authorization
  • Complete SAP activities to allow release of batches for further processing or shipment
  • Investigate and record deviations from GMP or company standards in manufacturing/packing operations
  • Provide oversight of change-control, complaint, distribution, self-inspection, and other key processes within site's Quality Management Systems
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Qualified Person (QP) with a recognized qualification in the UK. You will also need to have strong experience of working in quality at a sophisticated manufacturing site, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
