Job Summary:

Your Legal Costs is a dynamic and forward-thinking firm of cost consultants seeking an ambitious and dedicated individual to join our growing team. As a Negotiation Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and achieving outstanding results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Care: Provide exceptional client care and ensure that all client needs are met.
  • Target Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly targets, driving business growth and success.
  • Cost Valuation: Conduct thorough itemized valuations of costs presented and provide clear, concise guidance on recoverability.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with opponents, solicitor clients, and relevant disbursement providers, ensuring seamless collaboration and resolution.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, team leaders, and managers to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Task Management: Prioritize and complete daily task lists, ensuring case loads are managed within negotiation service level agreements.
  • Call Handling: Answer negotiation call group calls and direct queries where possible, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as reasonably required by the business to support your development and growth.

Experience:

  • Negotiation Experience: Possess negotiation experience, with a strong understanding of litigation funding, insurance, and legal claims.
  • Personality and Tenacity: Demonstrate a strong personality and tenacity, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Desirable Skills: Knowledge of the financial service industry and proficiency in MS Office 2007 or later, particularly in Excel and Word, is desirable.
