We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at JW Lees, a proud family-owned brewery with a rich history spanning nearly 200 years. Our 150 pubs, inns, and hotels across the North West and North Wales offer a unique blend of traditional charm and modern amenities.
As a Sous Chef at JW Lees, you will play a vital role in leading our kitchen team and contributing to the success of our business. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. You will work closely with our Head Chef to develop menus, manage stock, and ensure that our kitchens are always compliant and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence
- Support with menu development, stock management, and maintaining a safe and compliant kitchen
- Provide guidance to junior kitchen staff members
- Ensure high standards and attention to detail are maintained, working with the team to achieve and maintain 5* Scores on the doors
- Continuously motivate the team to deliver fresh, quality food
