About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant Chef to join our team at HC-One. As an Assistant Chef, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety in our care homes.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist the First Chef in managing the kitchen, including meal preparation, food presentation, and inventory management. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the First Chef in meal preparation, food presentation, and inventory management
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards
  • Support the First Chef in supervising kitchen staff and coordinating kitchen operations
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance culinary skills and knowledge
