About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator/Project Controller to join our team at Tokamak Energy. As a key member of our Portfolio Management Office, you will play a critical role in supporting the Head of Portfolio and other project managers in delivering our fusion energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute project management administrative tasks, including scheduling stakeholder meetings and preparing meeting minutes and actions.
  • Prepare and manage portfolio management documents, ensuring that all necessary information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Support programme and project managers and team members to help them complete project tasks, fostering cross-team collaboration and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Train engineers and new PMs on project management tools and processes, ensuring that everyone has the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.
  • Support the PMO in finalising and developing back-end processes and ways of working, aligning templates and standardisation across the portfolio.
Requirements
  • You have a passion for organisation and administrative management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are autonomous, organised, and able to hold people accountable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You are able to identify areas of opportunity to operate more efficiently and support cross-programme best practices, ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • You are committed to maintaining the agreed project management methods, standards, and processes throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that our projects are delivered to the highest standards.
  • You are able to co-ordinate the production of all reports and support the Head of Portfolio and programme/project managers with producing project summary reports.
  • You are able to advise and assist project team members in the application of project procedures, best practice, disciplines, and recording and reporting standards.
