Position Overview

Senior Marine Consultant

We are excited to present an opportunity for a Senior Marine Consultant to join a prestigious consultancy that focuses on marine science and technology. This role is pivotal in guiding projects across various offshore sectors, including renewable energy, construction, and oil and gas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team in conducting environmental impact assessments and project management.
  • Provide expert advice on licensing, equipment specifications, and project design.
  • Oversee offshore fieldwork and ensure adherence to industry standards.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in a relevant field with significant experience in the marine environmental sector.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong commercial awareness.
Desirable Skills

Experience with environmental surveys, Marine Mammal Observer (MMO) and Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) training, as well as offshore survival certifications, will be advantageous.
