Key Responsibilities:
As a Civil & Flood Risk Engineer, your primary duties will involve:
- Leading a small team of engineers from a technical standpoint
- Ensuring the successful delivery of Flood Risk project outcomes
- Supporting senior management in business development initiatives
- Managing team resources effectively
- Assisting in client account management
This role provides a unique opportunity to engage with both Flood Risk and Civil Engineering aspects of development projects, resulting in a diverse and enriching workload.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proficient in conducting Flood Risk Assessments
- Experienced in surface water drainage design and SuDS within RIBA stages 2-3
- Familiar with AutoCAD, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage/Causeway Flow
- Demonstrated experience in project management and serving as a technical lead on multidisciplinary projects
- Proven track record in mentoring and managing junior staff
- Strong IT and GIS capabilities
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in detailed drainage design
- Knowledge of Civil 3D
- Familiarity with highways design (S278/S38)
