Service Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team at Perfect Placement. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support for their vehicle needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Professionally communicate with customers to understand their vehicle requirements and provide expert advice on service and repair work.
  • Produce accurate job cards and update customer and vehicle records on our in-house computer systems.
  • Prepare and complete invoices, ensuring all necessary information is included.
  • Advise customers on estimated costs of repairs and timescales for completion.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required to support the service department.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive aftersales environment.
  • Ability to upsell on service work and service plans.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with motor dealership database software.
