Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a locum basis in a hospital setting. The successful candidate will have expertise in both dispensary and Medicines Management Technician (MMT) duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate dispensing of medication and supplies to patients
  • Support Medicines Management Technician (MMT) services, ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines in clinical areas
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Conduct regular medication reviews and assist in the reconciliation of patients' medication
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and professional standards
  • Assist in stock control and ordering of medications
Requirements
  • GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Previous hospital-based experience in both dispensary and MMT roles
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medication
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment
