About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Audit Quality Directorate (AQD) in an exciting period of growth and expansion. As a key member of our Methodology team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our audit quality strategy and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audits to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute audit and audit-related projects, including CASS, with a focus on the asset management and capital markets sector.
  • Develop and implement audit methodologies and best practices to drive quality and efficiency in our audit processes.
  • Collaborate with Audit Advisory Directors and other stakeholders to identify and address technical issues and areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and coaching to peers and junior staff on audit methodologies and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of our audit quality strategy and ensure its effective implementation across the firm.
Requirements
  • ACA or similar professional accountancy qualification.
  • Significant current hands-on practical asset management and capital markets audit/CASS experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent technical skills, including a deep understanding of UK auditing standards and their practical application.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Experience in training design, development, and delivery, with a focus on audit methodologies and best practices.
