Data Protection Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Manager to join our team at Data Privacy Recruitment Ltd. As a Data Protection Manager, you will be responsible for providing specialist advice and recommendations on data protection topics, including data rights requests, data processing activities, data breach management, and data sharing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist advice and recommendations on data protection topics
- Create and maintain documentation to evidence legal and regulatory compliance
- Identify and address areas where the organisation needs to review strategy, policy, or procedure
- Lead on data breach and information incident management response handling and reporting
- Support the development and implementation of relevant data privacy and compliance policies, processes, and procedures
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of data protection legislation and regulations, including the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.
