About the Company:
FinCh is a leading Investment Trust embarking on a ground-breaking new Real Estate programme. This ambitious project involves the creation of a cutting-edge, multi-use, mixed-site campus in Cambridge, featuring residential accommodation, a gym, restaurants, and state-of-the-art laboratories.
The Role:
The IT Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing the entire technology landscape across the business. As the key driver of IT strategy, you will oversee both software and infrastructure elements, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across multiple sites. This includes managing critical systems such as property management platforms, CAFM systems, security infrastructure (CCTV, Access Control), and core services like WiFi and helpdesk operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of the technology infrastructure across the business and multi-site campus.
- Oversee key systems, including website development, property management platforms, CAFM, WiFi, security cameras, and access control systems.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to deliver a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Manage IT services such as network infrastructure, helpdesk, and business continuity.
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading an IT function, ideally within a fast-growing start-up or scale-up environment.
- Strong background in IT infrastructure management, including network systems, WiFi, CCTV, access control, and CAFM platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute IT strategies that drive business growth.
