About the Role:


Join the dynamic Data, Analytics & Artificial Intelligence (DA&AI) group within the Enabling Functions division of a leading life sciences and healthcare business. We are seeking an AI Lead to spearhead cutting-edge AI initiatives, lead a talented team of AI Scientists and Engineers, and contribute to impactful AI-driven solutions across the business. As a key player in shaping our AI strategy, you will drive innovation, ensure seamless delivery of AI projects, and implement best practices in MLOps.


Key Responsibilities:


⦁ Lead, mentor, and inspire a multi-functional team of AI professionals.

⦁ Develop and implement AI strategies aligned with business goals.

⦁ Manage the full lifecycle of AI projects from concept to deployment.

⦁ Drive adoption of MLOps best practices, including model versioning, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.

⦁ Stay current on emerging AI technologies and industry trends.

⦁ Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for AI adoption across the business.


Required Skills & Experience:


⦁ Master’s or PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

⦁ Extensive experience in AI and machine learning, with expertise in deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and reinforcement learning.

⦁ Strong leadership skills and a track record of managing AI teams and successful project delivery.

⦁ Proficiency in Python and popular AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) preferred.

⦁ Familiarity with software development and MLOps tools.

⦁ Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex AI concepts for diverse audiences.

⦁ Experience in life sciences or healthcare preferred.

⦁ Publication record in AI/ML is a plus.
