Overview: Kingston Recruitment is seeking a dynamic individual to take on the role of Supply Chain and Warehouse Operations Leader. This position is pivotal as our client embarks on a significant journey of modernization and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the executive management team to spearhead various initiatives aimed at enhancing warehousing and distribution methodologies.
- Oversee the implementation of an advanced inventory management system to streamline operations.
- Manage the internal fleet of vehicles, ensuring efficient movement across the UK.
Operational Duties:
- Coordinate with drivers to devise cost-effective transportation routes.
- Supervise warehouse operational management processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and guarantee that all personnel receive the necessary training to meet established standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in logistics, ideally supported by a CPC qualification.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and the execution of new operational processes.
- Experience in addressing health and safety matters within a logistics and warehouse environment; a NEBOSH certificate is advantageous.
Position Details: This is a full-time, site-based permanent role, operating Monday to Friday, with occasional out-of-hours commitments as required by business needs.
Project Involvement: Engage in critical projects throughout the modernization phase, contributing to the evolution of our client's operations.
