Job Title: Junior Technical Project Manager

Job Summary:

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Junior Technical Project Manager to join our team. As a Junior Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Motorola Solutions software solutions to customers. You will be the primary point of contact with customers and will manage any backup resources required to support these activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver project delivery plans to strategic customers
  • Analyze existing business processes and re-engineer them as needed
  • Develop business process benefits for customers
  • Manage application development in accordance with customer requirements
  • Implement UAT/SAT in accordance with test plans
  • Manage training and deployment plans
  • Manage support plans
  • Develop and maintain project plans in accordance with customer requirements
  • Develop and maintain documentation relating to business process re-engineering
  • Manage customer testing phases of project deployments
  • Manage support of solutions once in-life
  • Manage issues raised by customers in relation to deployed solutions
  • Develop and maintain documentation relating to business benefits realization
  • Manage third-party supplier involvement in project delivery
  • Develop and maintain all project-related documentation

Requirements:

  • 3 years UK residency required for security check
  • Formal qualification in Computing Science or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Agile Project Management principles
  • High level of communication skills - written and verbal
  • High level of technical understanding - ability to communicate complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Diplomacy skills for establishing and managing relationships with customer stakeholders
  • Well-organized and disciplined in approach to work and time management
