Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at The Mitre, a beautiful country pub serving the best of British cuisine. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food and beverage offerings.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and control costs to ensure profitability and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.
