About the Role: Equality Diversity and Inclusion Lead
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Lead. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our organizational culture and ensuring that we create a truly inclusive environment for everyone.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide unwavering support to our staff, volunteers, and service users who have experienced discrimination.
- Develop innovative programs designed to enhance access for individuals from under-served and marginalized communities.
- Stay abreast of local EDI initiatives and best practices, actively promoting them within our organization.
- Build strong relationships with community groups and stakeholders, ensuring that our services are accessible to all.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of anti-discriminatory legislation and its practical application in our policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement a robust EDI plan that encompasses all aspects of our strategy.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Partnership Lead to promote EDI initiatives and raise awareness within our community.
