We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Lead. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our organizational culture and ensuring that we create a truly inclusive environment for everyone.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide unwavering support to our staff, volunteers, and service users who have experienced discrimination.
  • Develop innovative programs designed to enhance access for individuals from under-served and marginalized communities.
  • Stay abreast of local EDI initiatives and best practices, actively promoting them within our organization.
  • Build strong relationships with community groups and stakeholders, ensuring that our services are accessible to all.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of anti-discriminatory legislation and its practical application in our policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement a robust EDI plan that encompasses all aspects of our strategy.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Partnership Lead to promote EDI initiatives and raise awareness within our community.
