Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team at Busy Bees Stevenage College Nursery. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young children.

About the Role

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting the team in your room, ensuring that every individual child's needs are met. You will take ownership of observation, assessments, and planning for your key children, providing developmentally challenging next steps and supporting the staff team.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that we encourage and praise children's development and achievements, while guiding and managing the team in your room. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and evolving team, and to develop your leadership skills and knowledge in child development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification and have previous experience as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager, or Nursery Practitioner. You will also need to be able to work effectively as part of a team, and to provide high-quality care and education to our young children.
