About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Morgan Jones. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a pivotal role in providing financial insights and supporting business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts and reports to senior business leaders.
- Develop and maintain accurate financial models and forecasts.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including sales reporting and commission calculations.
- Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Manage and maintain financial systems, including ledgers and journals.
- Support external audits and provide financial information as required.
- Oversee financial operations, including balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow management.
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas).
- Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive and confident, able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
