Level 2 Teaching Assistant Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at NEAS. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting autistic and neurodivergent children and young people to access highly personalised programmes of study in one of our specialist schools.
Key Responsibilities- Work independently and as part of a team to support students with autism and neurodivergent needs
- Assist students with daily tasks and activities, promoting independence and self-confidence
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of individualised education plans
- Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and experiences. While prior experience in education or working with autistic individuals is not essential, a willingness to learn and adapt is crucial.
