Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a National Manufacturing business based near Harrogate. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond effectively to equipment breakdowns and perform scheduled maintenance work.
  • Proactively identify and correct reoccurring machine processing faults.
  • Train operational team members to perform minor maintenance tasks and assist in major repairs.
  • Contribute to the reduction of engineering downtime and continuous improvement of processes.

Requirements:

  • Time-served engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • Background in Food/FMCG/Packaging Manufacturing an advantage.
  • Cross-skill training in Electrical to Mechanical Conversion.
  • 17th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations certification.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs with certified training.
