Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Apprentice

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Engineer - Apprentice to join our team at Jenrick Engineering. As a Maintenance Engineer - Apprentice, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Engineering Manager and Maintenance Planner to ensure safe, timely, and effective completion of on-site reactive and PPM duties.
  • Conduct fault finding, testing, and the removal or adjustment of existing fittings, fixtures, and parts.
  • Carry out overhauls and repairs of plant and machinery, including PLCs.
  • Support maintenance shutdowns.
  • Act as a role model and lead by example, demonstrating core company values, behaviours, and high-performance standards at all times.
Requirements:
  • Apprentice trained Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a Food or FMCG manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
