Compliance Manager
Reporting to the Operations Director within a dynamic cleaning services division, the Compliance Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to client expectations and legal requirements. This position is essential for fostering a culture of health and safety across the organization while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing safe operational procedures that address all pertinent hazards.
- Contributing to the integration of ISO14001 and 9001 management systems alongside OHSAS 18001.
- Conducting regular site assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Performing risk assessments on-site to ensure all activities are documented and compliant.
- Formulating health and safety strategies and enhancing internal policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in compliance, preferably within facilities management or the public sector.
- Strong understanding of operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Relevant qualifications such as IOSH and BICS are preferred.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage workload.
- Self-motivated with the capability to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Vetting Requirements:
Candidates must successfully complete the Metropolitan Police vetting process at level NPPV2 (CTC) clearance.
