Job Summary:
The Gregory Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Pallet Networks depot in Plymouth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse and transportation activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and order fulfillment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, including drivers, warehouse workers, and office personnel.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement business plans and strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in warehouse operations management, transportation logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business growth and profitability.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations, including driver's hours and WTDs.
- International or national CPC qualification and previous transport management experience.
