Gregory Distribution is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Pallet Network Depot in Ernesettle, Plymouth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the depot's resources, including personnel, equipment, and vehicles, to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Lead a team of circa 70 staff, including drivers, warehouse/forklift operators, and office personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • International or national CPC qualification and previous transport management experience.
  • Strong understanding of legal compliance, driver's hours, and WTDs.
  • Proven track record of leading successful change and managing financial budgets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • IT literacy, including MS Office, and strong analytical ability.
