Our client is a prominent European producer of materials utilized in the residential construction industry.
They are currently looking for a skilled Logistics Operations Supervisor to oversee their warehouse activities on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the effective selection and packaging of customer orders, including picking, final finish, packaging, verification, loading, and documentation.
- Manage incoming goods, ensuring proper unloading, inspection, storage, and record-keeping from suppliers.
- Ensure safe operation of Forklifts, Counterbalance, and Pallet Pedestrian Trucks in compliance with safety regulations.
- Organize and rotate inventory according to company protocols to minimize stock write-offs.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment while ensuring equipment is well-kept.
- Oversee productivity within the inbound and outbound departments, optimizing space and supporting business growth.
- Drive operational improvements by identifying areas for efficiency enhancements.
- Monitor and enhance team and individual KPI performance to boost operational effectiveness.
- Identify training requirements and implement solutions for team development.
- Manage the weekly warehouse schedule, ensuring compliance with mandatory breaks and supporting team welfare.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proficient in IT applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Experience in warehouse operations within a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure high-quality order fulfillment.
- Excellent time management skills, capable of working under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Flexible and proactive approach to work, demonstrating a willingness to exceed expectations.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail to minimize errors.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities effectively while remaining hands-on.
- Valid Forklift and Pump Truck Licenses.
