We are seeking a talented and forward-thinking individual to join our IT team as a Technical Specialist. This role will be within Network Services, primarily focused on Cloud and Identity technologies. Leicestershire County Council is aligned to the Microsoft cloud architecture and consumes Office 365 and Azure services, which will form a key element of the role.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain cloud and identity solutions to support the council's core services.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of cloud and identity technologies.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest innovations and advancements in cloud and identity technologies.
To be successful in this role, you will have a sound technical background and be willing to learn and adapt to new technologies. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
