We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchase Ledger Team Leader to join our team at Pure Resourcing Solutions. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Manager in the Accounts Payable function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Processing: You will be responsible for processing invoices in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and up-to-date.
  • Authorisation and Payment of Invoices: You will authorise and process payments for all supplier invoices and employee expense claims, ensuring that all payments are made in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Team Leadership and Development: You will lead and develop a team of purchase ledger professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Process Improvement: You will work closely with the Finance Manager to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to streamline and enhance our purchase ledger processes.
  • Project Management: You will be responsible for managing projects related to purchase ledger processes, including the implementation of new systems and procedures.
  • Communication and Collaboration: You will work closely with the Operations Team to understand and resolve issues associated with purchase ledger processes, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.
  • Reporting and Analysis: You will monitor and report on invoice processing volumes, invoice backlogs, late payments, and query volumes and response times, providing insights and recommendations for process improvement.
Requirements:
  • Experience: You will have significant experience in purchase ledger management, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
