Procurement Manager

At Semco Maritime, we are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating procurement activities and deliverables for assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and coordinate procurement package team activities and deliverables for assigned projects.
  2. Establish and maintain procurement strategies, plans, and budgets.
  3. Pre-qualify suppliers, prepare inquiries, evaluate tenders, negotiate contracts, and issue purchase orders.
  4. Monitor and control equipment and documentation deliveries, changes, and warranties.
  5. Obtain a general knowledge of contracts and detailed knowledge of technical and commercial scope of work for assigned projects.
  6. Provide project reporting to the Procurement Manager on progress, status, schedule, cost, risk, and opportunity.

Requirements:

  1. Systematic and analytical skills.
  2. Commercially driven with technical insight.
  3. Knowledge of contract and contract management.
  4. Excellent communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.
  5. Good negotiation skills.
  6. High integrity and ethical values.
  7. Dedicated and proactive.
  8. Team player.
