**About the Position**

Carrington West is seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join their Development Planning team in Cambridge. This role involves delivering high-quality transport planning services to support development projects from inception to implementation.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Prepare and review transport assessments and statements to support planning applications.
* Conduct traffic modelling and analysis using software such as TRICS, Junctions 9, LinSig, and VISSIM.
* Liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure project compliance.
* Develop and promote sustainable transport strategies.
* Interpret and apply transport policies to development proposals.
* Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
* Oversee and conduct transport surveys and data analysis.

**Requirements**

* Bachelor's degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
* 3-5 years of experience in transport planning within the development planning sector.
* Proficiency in transport modelling and analysis software.
* Strong understanding of UK transport policy and planning processes.
* Experience in preparing and reviewing transport assessments and statements.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
