Job Title: Head Gardener

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Gardener to join our team at Beaverbrook. As a key member of our gardening team, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and integrity of our 400-acre private estate in Surrey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the highest standards of garden maintenance, including pruning, weeding, and planting.
  • Supervise and train a team of gardeners to ensure the estate is well-maintained.
  • Develop and implement garden plans to enhance the estate's beauty and biodiversity.
  • Manage garden resources, including equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless estate operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest gardening techniques and best practices.
Requirements:
  • NVQ in Horticulture or similar qualification.
  • Plant knowledge and experience in garden maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends.
