About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Butcher to lead our Butchery Department and drive sales growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of stock, food safety, and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards in all areas, including stock, food safety procedures, and customer satisfaction.
  • Work with the Store Manager to develop a business plan that supports sales growth and profitability.
  • Greet and engage with customers, providing advice and answering questions.
  • Order and manage stock, including stocktaking.
  • Effectively develop and manage a small team, including staff rotas.
  • Cut meat to order and maintain tools and equipment.
  • Coordinate deliveries and manage waste.
