About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Adult Community/District Nurse to join our team at Elect Recruitment. As a District Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the community by providing high-quality patient care and working closely with healthcare professionals to deliver effective services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake responsibility for caseloads, assessments, planning, and evaluation of patients' care needs.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Support patients in their own homes, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the District Nursing team to achieve shared goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Valid NMC registration and a minimum of one year's experience working as an Adult Community/District Nurse in the UK.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize your own work, with a professional attitude to work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Access to your own transport, with a willingness to travel to various locations.
  • Experience in compression, wound assessment, catheterization, central lines, palliative care, medical/drug administration, PEG, and phlebotomy.
