In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Financial Controller and other Finance Managers within the broader group.
Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of financial activities, including overseeing the transactional aspects such as Accounts Payable and Receivable, as well as month-end processes, management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis, balance sheets, monthly reconciliations, repayments, and accruals
- Budgeting and cash flow management, including forecasting and monitoring
- Management of credit control processes
- Processing payroll
- Conducting bank reconciliations and managing daily banking tasks
- Overseeing fixed asset management
- Reviewing and improving financial processes and procedures
- Supervising one team member who assists with transactional duties
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in preparing monthly management accounts
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrated strong work ethic
- A collaborative team player
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
