Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Concrete Industries Inc. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting concrete block, brick, and other construction materials to various locations throughout the state.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of heavy equipment, including boom trucks, flatbed trucks, and dump trucks, to transport concrete block and other construction materials.
  • Perform daily pre- and post-trip safety checks on equipment and vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Document any maintenance or repairs required for equipment and vehicles.
  • Transport and maintain the condition of concrete block, brick, and other construction materials to ensure they arrive at their destination in good condition.
  • Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, as needed.
  • Verify load tickets and ensure accurate delivery of materials.
  • Strap and secure loads to comply with state, federal, and local laws and company safety policies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of experience driving tractor-trailer trucks or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid NE Commercial Driver's License Class A required.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and road maps.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
