Position Overview:

Are you an outgoing and engaging individual who enjoys interacting with others? Cotswold Farm Park is seeking enthusiastic team members to provide live presentations and create memorable experiences for our guests. As part of the Entertainments team, you will be instrumental in delivering educational and enjoyable experiences for our visitors.

This role is customer-facing and requires outstanding communication and service skills. While prior experience with animals is not necessary, a willingness to learn and share the fascinating aspects of our agricultural environment is essential. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the cleanliness and basic care of our animals, as well as conducting practical demonstrations, live talks, and informative discussions with guests.

As a member of the Cotswold Farm Park Visitor Experience team, you will also collaborate with our marketing department to present engaging online content. This will involve delivering live presentations, participating in Q&A sessions, and interacting with our online audience in a friendly and informative manner.

You will be tasked with ensuring that the content you present is captivating, educational, and consistent with our brand identity. Close collaboration with the marketing team will be necessary to prepare and master the material you will be presenting, ensuring you deliver it with confidence and charisma.

Key Qualifications:

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Engaging with visitors and presenting online content requires strong communication abilities. You should be capable of conveying information effectively, confidently, and enthusiastically, both in person and online.
  • Charismatic Presence: Charisma is vital for anyone in a public-facing position. You should be able to attract and maintain the attention of your audience.
  • Passion for Education and Entertainment: This role involves providing a fun and informative experience for visitors, so a genuine passion for educating and entertaining is crucial. You should be able to share your knowledge of agriculture and animals in an engaging manner for audiences of all ages.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintaining the cleanliness and well-being of animals and ensuring a safe environment for visitors is critical. Being detail-oriented is essential for providing excellent care and ensuring a positive experience for guests.
  • Willingness to Learn: While no prior experience with animals is required, a desire to learn and share the wonders of our agricultural world is important. You should also be open to adapting to changes in the online content you will present.
  • Flexibility: This role involves delivering live shows, so adaptability in your working hours is necessary. Being able to adjust to changes in schedules and responsibilities is essential.
  • Team Collaboration: Working effectively with various teams, such as marketing and animal care, is important to provide visitors with an unforgettable experience. You should be able to collaborate with others and contribute to the team's success.

Work Hours:

Generally variable, reflecting the nature of the business.

These positions are temporary, and hours can be flexible.

Requirements:

No prior experience with animals is necessary, but a willingness to learn and share the wonders of our agricultural environment is essential.

Must have your own transportation as we are located in a rural area.
