We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our UK Impact Assessment department as an Energy Expert. In this role, you will play a key part in coordinating statutory EIA and non-statutory environmental assessment processes for major development proposals in the energy sector, including onshore and offshore wind, solar, hydrogen, CCUS, transmission, and energy storage.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective environmental baseline data collection strategies, interpreting data and providing expert advice on environmental and sustainability constraints and opportunities for development.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with Ramboll colleagues, supply chain partners, and clients, providing exceptional communication and project management skills.
  • Produce high-quality reports and spatial data, utilizing advanced report writing skills and coordination of management of spatial data.
  • Support and lead key technical and commercial aspects of project delivery, working collaboratively with project directors and team members.
  • Provide advisory skills in preparing materials for stakeholder meetings and public consultations, participating in public consultations and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.

About You:

We're looking for an individual with a strong background in environmental sciences, a Master's degree in an environmental discipline (advantageous), and prior EIA coordination experience on complex projects, preferably in the energy sector. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are essential for this role.
