Responsibilities of the Financial Strategy Partner:
- Engage in optimizing short-term performance metrics while supporting long-term strategic initiatives to propel the organization forward.
- Deliver weekly financial insights to assist in evaluating business performance.
- Provide comprehensive financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to budget holders to aid in decision-making processes.
- Extract critical insights from both financial and non-financial data (internal and external) to guide business action plans.
- Ensure the accuracy of month-end management accounts for designated areas, including a thorough understanding of performance drivers.
- Oversee forecasting and budgetary control for specific business segments, assisting the Senior Financial Strategy Partner with their forecasting and budgeting responsibilities.
- Offer analysis and insights to support and challenge budget holders effectively.
- Prepare monthly reports for non-financial managers, including trend analysis of key performance indicators and necessary corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with the Senior Financial Strategy Partner on specific development projects; support business case formulation and play a pivotal role in driving delivery and performance tracking.
- Conduct pre and post-promotional analyses, including evaluating viability, successes, and recommendations for future initiatives.
Qualifications:
- CIMA or ACCA - Finalist Studier or Qualified
- Proven commercial finance experience in a dynamic business environment, preferably with a focus on business partnering
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across finance and non-finance teams
- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
- Commercially astute with a flexible and dynamic approach to workload management
- Proficient in analyzing relevant data to identify trends, make recommendations, and convey insights effectively
