Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake project management duties, including pre-contract, contract phase, and post-contract activities.
  • Manage onsite supply chain partners, ensuring quality, safety, programme, and costs are met.
  • Lead defined projects and manage capital investment schemes, overseeing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Gather relevant information, including site surveys and tender document preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant statutory regulations, including CDM Regulations, Planning and Building Regulations, and Party Wall Act.
  • Assist in budget management, ensuring expenditure is on target and meets financial regulations.
  • Apply project management techniques, such as cash flow analysis, process management, value engineering, and risk management.
Requirements
  • Relevant HND/HNC construction qualification, e.g., building surveying, quantity surveying, or architectural.
  • Project management experience in a property or contracting context.
  • Knowledge of industry legislation, including Building Regulations, Party Wall Act, and Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations.
  • Sound experience of writing specifications and obtaining quotes/tenders for work.
