At Sigma, we're seeking a skilled Project Engineer to manage capital investment projects that drive business growth and improve safety, productivity, and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence. Collaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers to build a professional network and leverage industry expertise. Develop and implement productivity enhancement initiatives, driving smooth management of change activities and aligning supplier procedures with project goals. Produce detailed reports to secure project expenditure sign-off, driving efficient, safe, and reliable plant operations that contribute directly to our organisation's success.
Requirements
We're looking for a qualified Project Engineer with proven experience in managing multiple, moderately complex projects. A degree-level qualification in a related engineering field, such as Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, is preferred. You should be skilled in crafting detailed reports and developing compelling business cases to secure project funding and authorisation. Adept contractor management experience is also essential.
What We Offer
This role comes with a competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000 (dependent on experience) plus a comprehensive benefits package, including pension, private medical, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. You'll work within a small, friendly project team and enjoy a flexi-time scheme with core hours from 9.30 am to 3.00 pm.
