About the Role:

G&H (Gooch & Housego) is a leading manufacturer of fibre optic components and modules. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join our Product Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet business performance commitments to key stakeholders and take overall responsibility for all aspects of NPI projects assigned following the NPI process.
  • Design and develop new products, ensuring they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and meet business growth objectives.
  • Implement quality improvements and ensure all projects are fully auditable to current site accreditations.
  • Lead and maintain PFMEA's and introduce risk mitigation strategies to ensure product reliability and quality.

Requirements:

  • Engineering or Science-based degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in technical design, process development, and project management.
  • Understanding and experience of Project Management methods and tools.
  • Knowledge of H&S to a level where risk assessments can be carried out and effectively managed.
