Deputy Manager Position

YHA Brecon Beacons is seeking a skilled Deputy Manager to support the hostel manager in the day-to-day operational management of the hostel and delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the achievement of targets across all aspects of the hostel operation, including food and beverage, and maximise revenue while controlling expenditure.
- Support the hostel manager in managing a team of employees and occasional volunteers.
- Undertake housekeeping, reception, and food and beverage tasks on a daily basis.
- Assist in the management of an operational budget and delivery of KPIs.
- Flexibility to cover different shifts and tasks.
- Previous leadership experience and experience managing budgets is desired.
- Food safety level 2 and APLH level 2 qualifications would be desirable but not essential.
- Experience / working knowledge of managing varying pressures, including significant peaks in workload demands and experience of managing a team is essential.
- A competitive salary between £28,487 and £31,939 per year based on a 42.5 hour week.
- Live-in accommodation if required on a temporary basis until you find suitable accommodation.
