Fabrication Project Manager

NP Aerospace is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of new defence protection products, such as armour plates, shields, helmets, and bomb disposal suits.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage projects across the Composite and Armour Systems business, ensuring delivery on time, to the right quality standards, and to agreed project budgets.
- Work with a cross-functional team to define and coordinate resources required and assigned to projects.
- Provide technical direction to ensure system design meets customer technical specifications and quality or regulatory requirements.
- Manage a full product life cycle from bids and project initiation through development and verification, into full-rate production.
- Interact with Production and Quality teams to investigate and obtain necessary corrective action data.
- Provide robust management information reporting on progress both internally and externally.
- Develop and maintain Project Management Plans and associated governance documentation.
- Experienced Project Management professional with strong leadership skills and a demonstrable track record in successful project setup, execution, and delivery.
- Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness.
- Proficient in all Microsoft packages, including MS Project.
- A self-starter who can work independently and effectively under minimal supervision.
- Knowledge and experience in the effective use of Project Management tools and techniques.
