Fabrication Operations Manager

As a key member of our team at Recra Consulting, the Fabrication Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the fabrication department. This includes planning, organizing, and scheduling production tasks to meet project deadlines and customer requirements.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a team of skilled fabricators, providing leadership and guidance to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency. They will also be responsible for conducting regular performance evaluations and providing training and development opportunities to enhance the skills of the team.
The Fabrication Manager will work closely with other departments, such as engineering and procurement, to ensure smooth coordination and execution of projects. They will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and managing the fabrication process from start to finish.
- Overseeing the fabrication team and providing leadership and guidance.
- Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing training and development opportunities.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to have:
- Proven experience as a Fabrication Manager or similar role in the manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of fabrication processes, equipment, and materials.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
