Pottersway House Care Home is seeking to appoint a Chief Housekeeping Officer.

Our newly established, upscale facility is located in the charming village of Church Lawton, in proximity to Alsager.

As the leader of the department, you will effectively manage the complete housekeeping operations and guide a team on a daily basis, ensuring all areas within the care home are maintained to the highest standards while delivering exceptional care and service to our residents.

Chief Housekeeping Officer Contract

£25,000 per annum.

Pension benefits.

5.6 weeks of annual leave.

Uniform provision.

Onsite parking available.

DBS costs covered.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and direct housekeeping personnel, assigning tasks as necessary.

Train and assess new team members.

Organize and allocate daily cleaning schedules, laundry, and additional responsibilities.

Procure and manage inventory of cleaning materials and equipment.

Conduct inspections of residents' rooms and communal areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.

Address complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner.

Adhere to established safety and sanitation protocols.

Act as a liaison between the housekeeping department and other essential departments.

Oversee the budget for housekeeping activities and maintain financial records.

Maintain regular communication with management and participate in meetings as required.
