Pottersway House Care Home is seeking to appoint a Chief Housekeeping Officer.

Our newly established, upscale facility is located in the charming village of Church Lawton, close to Alsager.

As the Head of the Housekeeping Department, you will effectively manage the entire cleaning operation and lead a dedicated team on a daily basis, ensuring all areas within the care home are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and service for our residents.

Chief Housekeeping Officer Contract

£25,000 per annum.

Pension benefits.

5.6 weeks of annual leave.

Uniform provided.

Onsite parking available.

DBS costs covered.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee housekeeping personnel and allocate tasks effectively.

Mentor and assess new team members.

Organize and assign daily cleaning, laundry, and additional responsibilities.

Procure and manage inventory of cleaning materials and equipment.

Conduct inspections of resident rooms and communal areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.

Address complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner.

Adhere to established safety and sanitation protocols.

Act as a liaison between the housekeeping department and other essential departments.

Manage the housekeeping budget and maintain financial records.

Maintain regular communication with management and participate in meetings as required.
