Job Description

RF Recruitment Consultancy Ltd is seeking to enhance its team with a Fire Safety Systems Technician on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a national company that is currently expanding its operations and client base.

As a Fire Safety Systems Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing fire alarm systems across a variety of commercial properties. Your role will primarily involve working along the M4 corridor.

In addition to a competitive starting salary, you will receive:

In this position, you will be mobile, covering areas such as Swindon, Bristol, and Reading. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting routine maintenance on fire alarm systems
  • Identifying and troubleshooting faults
  • Performing repairs and minor installations
  • Receiving training on general building services maintenance

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A proven track record in fire alarm maintenance within a commercial environment
  • Essential experience in providing PPM and reactive maintenance on addressable panels
  • Desirable qualifications such as FIA BS 5839-1
  • Previous experience in a mobile maintenance role
  • A valid driving license with a clean DBS record
  • Strong technological skills and excellent client interaction abilities
