Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be an integral part of the kitchen team, responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals that cater to our Residents' preferences. You will ensure a diverse menu that respects cultural backgrounds and dietary needs. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Managing food inventory and adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Collaborating with central support teams to ensure compliance with nutrition standards.
  • Maintaining a focus on Resident wellbeing in all culinary activities.

Work Schedule: This position requires a commitment of 30 hours per week, with a shift pattern from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, including alternate weekends.

Qualifications: We are seeking candidates with an S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery, along with a minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. Your positive attitude and ability to connect with others will be crucial. You should be organized, capable of meeting service times, and skilled in following recipes accurately.
