Job Overview

Mint Velvet is a fashion retailer that prides itself on creating high-quality, stylish clothing. As a Merchandising Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Merchandising team to maximize the profitability of our ranges, stores, and digital business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Merchandiser to analyze sales data and identify trends to inform buying decisions
  • Develop and maintain accurate intake and delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of merchandise
  • Monitor and analyze department, product, and store performance to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Collaborate with the Buying team to negotiate prices and manage inventory levels
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth logistics
  • Conduct weekly analysis of sales data to identify best and worst sellers and make recommendations for improvement
  • Review and analyze performance at line, category, and department level to inform business decisions

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
