Major Recruitment Huddersfield is proud to announce a new opportunity for a CNC Machinist to join their team in Huddersfield. This role is ideal for someone looking to work with CNC programming and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:- Machining billet steel into sprockets for conveyor belts
- Programming and operating CNC machines
- Interpreting engineering drawings and job routings
- Working to timelines and multitasking in a busy environment
- Familiarity and confidence in FANUC control
- Ability to program and operate CNC machines
- Experience working with hard steel
- Previous experience with gear cutting is advantageous but not essential
- Hourly salary of £14-£15
- Overtime paid at 1.33x or 1.5x
- Every other Friday off with a 3:45 PM finish
- Brand new facility
This is a full-time position with a working week of Monday to Friday, with working hours of Monday to Thursday 7:45 AM to 4:45 PM and Friday 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM. If you are a skilled CNC Machinist looking for a new challenge, please apply by submitting your CV.
